Fat Booty Band is concerned about only one thing: how many people
shake their booties, which is the inspiration for its name.
“We wanted people to come out and shake their
booties,” said drummer Russell Harper. “That’s all
this is: booty-shaking music. We just thought of a booty-shaking
name.”

Tired of loud and screaming music?
Classical guitarist Gerald Klickstein will perform
in Rosen Concert Hall at the Broyhill Music Center on Nov. 12.
Gerald Klickstein performed at Appalachian State
University in 1999 and returns Tuesday for a second performance.
