The Editor:
Typical of the anti-athletics minority at
ASU, Denise Gregory is clearly misinformed in her deriding
of the football team’s trip to play the University of
Hawaii.
She never bothered to find out that UH was
paying for our trip out there, as well as paying us just to
play the game. The game payout alone will cover our teams
expenses for the trip.
In the future, I would suggest the editorial
staff think things through a little better. Oh, and one last
thing...The team is traveling to play Wyoming next year, in
case you want to whine about their trip to that exotic locale.
